INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

An important first step in the healing process is to engage in constructive dialogue about issues that are affecting you and the reparative strategies that can help. It’s about how to be better at what we choose to be. A collaborative effort between you and your counselor, sessions focus on the future and rediscovering the joy you once had so you don’t have to go it alone.

COUPLES COUNSELING

At 49th Bridge Counseling, we understand that improving relationships involves improving communication. This is true whether you’re in a romantic relationship or another partnership where shared goals are an important part of your mutual, long-term prosperity.

Couples therapy is for people who are interested in growing together by learning to communicate productively rather than combatively. It’s an opportunity to lay the groundwork for mutual trust, understanding, and respect so you can move forward together.

FAMILY COUNSELING

Family Counseling seeks to reduce distress and conflict among family members by improving the interactions between them. While family therapists often like to have all family members present, that is not always necessary.
