Shane Chapple, LCPC

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Shane has worked for Bridges Counseling in Anchorage, Alaska since 2010 and quickly built a thriving practice. For several years he has wanted to open his clinic, specifically in Henderson, and with the support of Bridges Counseling, he’s very excited to see his dream become a reality. When you meet Shane, you’ll recognize he’s not your typical counselor right away. He has a different energy level, and his approach to counseling is straightforward.   What you see is what you get, and he’s about as “real” as they come. He’ll hold you accountable but in a personal, compassionate way. It will be difficult not to notice how passionate he is about counseling and helping people become the best versions of themselves. He prides himself on being laid back and personable but professional.

Shane obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Utah and his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University. Shane was born and raised in Utah and lived in Alaska for over 20 years. He and his wife, Evelyn, recently moved to Nevada to open the clinic and make Henderson their permanent home.

He has been working in the mental health field since 1996 and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2009. He works with adults, teenagers, and children no younger than age 10. He specializes in working with individuals experiencing difficulties with PTSD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, anger, mood swings, major life transitions, and relationship issues.

If you’ve never seen a counselor, are considering returning to counseling, or are looking for a new counselor for yourself or someone else, don’t hesitate to schedule an appointment with Shane. You’ll find his approach to counseling uniquely different and welcoming.
